Additional information can be found at www.gpstrategies.com.Job DescriptionThe Proposal Manager is a multi-faceted professional who drives pre‑RFP strategy, facilitates high‑stakes internal workshops, and manages the proposal lifecycle with ruthless project discipline. You will help set win themes, run color‑team/gate reviews and deliver compelling submissions and presentations. You’ll also deploy generative AI (including light agent creation) to compress timelines, strengthen compliance, and lift quality, while raising the bar on stakeholder engagement and measurable win‑rate improvement.Mandatory: Advanced English fluencyKey responsibilities:Shape pursuits pre‑RFP: help develop communication plans, competitor/stakeholder analyses; translate into win themes and storyboards.Design and facilitate decisive workshops producing clear decisions, actions, and ownership.Own schedule and delivery end‑to‑end: critical‑path planning, dependency and change control, risk management, and on‑time submission.Write, edit, and architect evaluator‑centric narratives; set document structure, look & feel; brief designers and run final quality gates.Operationalise GenAI across the pursuit: prompt patterns, grounded answering/retrieval, critique loops; maintain prompt/answer libraries for reuse.Build/maintain light agents to automate intake triage, boilerplate retrieval, compliance checks, and meeting prep; track adoption and impact.Curate best‑practice content and case evidence for intelligent reuse; maintain versioning and metadata hygiene for rapid assembly.Run post‑pursuit lessons learned and analytics on cycle time, iteration count, compliance/quality issues; feed improvements back into the team.Skills and experience required:Demonstrable previous experience of managing complex pursuits/proposals with mastery of the end-to-end bid lifecycle.Facilitation excellenceRuthless project/programme managementGenAI fluency for proposals (prompting, grounded answer generation, critique/improve loops) and a willingness to build light agentsCompelling writing and editorial discipline; ability to partner with designers to elevate structure, visuals, and brand alignment.Stakeholder influence at senior levels; calm, candid, and data‑driven under tight deadlines.Advanced Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams); strong habits for version control and secure collaboration.Fluent in English (verbal/written)Desirable skills and experience:Proven experience in working in close collaboration with Marketing and /or Revenue Operations functionsExperience coordinating global, multi‑cultural pursuits and oralsAn interest in and understanding of bid and pursuit best practices and industry developmentsWith more than 4000 employees in over 30 countries, diversity at GP Strategies is second nature!
