Headquartered in Switzerland since late 2018, with sites in Sweden, Taiwan, and the Unites States.The Associate Project Manager is in charge for the successful implementation of a specific project or project work packages as assigned within SHL Medical under supervision or support from mentor and/or team leader. He/she will work closely with all team members to ensure, that project requirements, deadlines and schedules are always on track. Overall responsibilities are planning, budgeting, resource allocation as well as project risk management and project team leadership.Job OverviewAs a Prototyping Engineer, you will support Development departments at an early stage for prototyping requests. The focus is design and manufacture soft-tools, produce injection molded components and 3D printed samples. In order to provide these services, we have specialized equipment including CAD/CAM software, 3D printer, CNC milling and injection molding machine.You will work closely with the DFMA and Metrology team to ensure design engineers have the necessary data for successful prototyping.Main ResponsibilitiesSetting up, operate CNC machines (up to 5-axis)Utilize CAM software to program CNC machinesDesign and develop prototypes (e.g. injection molds) by using CAD softwareMaintain tooling and equipment for optimal performanceSetting up, program and operate injection molding machinesUtilize 3D printers and post-process printed componentsCollaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliersAssist with administrative tasks e.g. shipping, purchasing materials and supplies etc.Minimum QualificationsProficiency with CNC machining equipment and toolingExperience with CAM (preferred Mastercam) and CAD software (preferred SolidWorks)Knowledge of 3D printing and injection molding (or willing to learn)Experience with supplier contactsTarget-driven, creative, and open-minded attitudeLanguage SkillsMust have : Fluent in English Nice to have : MandarinWe OfferChallenging assignments in a fast-growing and innovative industry.A multicultural team and modern working environment with state-of-the-art facilities and technologies.A place where we take pride in the inclusive and collaborative environment we have built - one where a true sense of belonging fosters meaningful exchange and shared growth.Various opportunities for personal and professional development within a global organization.Interested in joining SHL Medical and in supporting us with your expertise and personality?
