In its partnership with Yayasan Integritas Justitia Madani Indonesia (Yayasan IJMI), we are seeking a Provincial Coordinator for managing a project for Strengthening Justice System to Provide Protection for Vulnerable Workers in West Kalimantan.This position is based in Pontianak, the Capital of West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia and reports to the MERL Analyst/Proof Case Focal Point. It is only open to candidates who reside in Indonesia and have the right to work in the country.About Yayasan IJMIYayasan Integritas Justitia Madani Indonesia (IJMI) is an independent local foundation established in Indonesia in March 2023. In this partnership, Yayasan IJMI adopts IJM's systems, models, approaches, and resources that have been trusted and proven to provide the impact that is also expected or targeted by Yayasan IJMI.Our Vision: An effective Justice System in Indonesia to protect over 16.5 million people living in poverty from Forced Labor and Modern Slavery.Our Mission: To protect people in poverty from violence through the rescue of victims, restraint of criminals, restoration of survivors, and strengthening of criminal justice systems.OverviewThe Provincial Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating IJM’s Implementing Partners who executes IJM’s Protection Model (six dimensions) in West Kalimantan which aims to provide protection for vulnerable workers facing risks of forced labor and labor trafficking. The incumbent will serve as a bridge between Implementing Partners and IJM Indonesia in Jakarta. This position is based in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia, and reports to the Proof Case Focal Point.ResponsibilitiesYaysan IJMI Representation in the RegionProvide IJMI leadership to the Implementing Partners and ensure effective representation of IJMI with all partners and authorities. Represent IJMI in the Districts and Province by participating in meetings and events, moving forward the agenda for improved justice system and protection of the vulnerable group Effectively coordinate Implementing Partners team to deliver protection for the vulnerable group. Strategy & Knowledge Development & ImplementationSupport alignment and execution of project interventions of Protection Model dimensions with local partners and stakeholders;Provide feedback and inputs to improve project implementation strategies. Policies & ProceduresEnsure Implementing Partner’s compliance with Yayasan IJMI and donor requirements;Support accountability mechanisms, including documentation and feedback collection. Local Capacity Building/SustainabilityThrough strong coordination with Implementing PartnersProvide local authorities and service providers with technical support and guidance to plan and organize training programmes for the purpose of capacity building and programme sustainability. Ensure the building and reinforcing of the commitment and institutional capacities of the district, provincial and local partners starting with taking a strategic approach to the identification of these partners and partnerships. Human Rights Perspective and Advocacy at the Province, District, Community and Family Levels Project Coordination & ImplementationCoordinate regularly with Implementing Partners and stakeholders to ensure project execution is aligned with IJM’s Protection Model;Assist in organizing meetings, workshop, field visits,;Maintain communication logs and project documentation;Identify potential risks and come up with risk mitigation plan. Documentation, Reporting & Data ManagementContribute to project monitoring, reporting, including progress updates, challenges, and recommendations;Ensure proper record-keeping and safekeeping of project-related materials;Collaborate with M&E teams to track indicators related to the protection of vulnerable workers. SupervisoryThis is an individual contributor position and does not supervise or manage other staff positions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in social sciences, development studies, law, or related fields;Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project coordination or management;Experience working with local communities and/or international organizations;High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications;Bilingual in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal). Strong coordination and project management skills;Excellent organizational and time management abilities;Good analytical and problem-solving skills;Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
