This role ensures that organizational priorities are executed efficiently by coordinating cross-functional efforts, driving key initiatives, and enabling high-impact decision-making. The Chief of Staff serves as a thought partner, project manager, and internal liaison, strengthening the connection between leadership and teams across the organization. Missions :
Strategic Plan Execution & Organizational Alignment Help set priorities and align projects with the organization's strategyTranslate strategic goals into operational plans with clear milestones and accountabilityMonitor progress on key initiatives and support data-driven decision-makingPrepare strategic meetings, presentations, and reports for internal and externalstakeholdersDraft or review strategic communications to internal and external stakeholdersMonitoring of some strategic partnershipsReview and challenge the monthly activity dashboardExecutive Office Support & Leadership Team CoordinationServe as the “right hand” to the General Director, anticipating needs and managingprioritiesAct as a sounding board for the General Director and help her to synthesize andreformulate her thoughtsPrepare board meetings presentationsManage General Director’s mail box and agendaDraft internal messages, talking points, and updates on behalf of the General DirectorCoordinate executive and leadership teams meetings, set agendas, track follow-ups,and promote accountabilityAct as a liaison between the General Director and departments and partners.
Support initiatives to strengthen organizational culture, leadership alignment, and staffengagement. . Project Management & Cross-functional CoordinationLead or coordinate special projects across departments (e. g. , program expansion ortransformation, policy rollouts). Identify bottlenecks and proactively address obstacles to ensure timely delivery. Standardize and improve internal processes where needed. Profil : Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Education, Development Studies, Business, or related field7+ years of progressive experience, including at least 3 years in a strategy, operations, or leadership support rolePrior experience in a nonprofit, NGO, or mission-driven organization (preferred)Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with strategic planning, organizational development, or monitoring & evaluation frameworks.
