Hypersonica develops hypersonic technologies and delivery systems for both military and civilian applications. The company is headquartered in Munich and has a branch in the UK.Hypersonica is expanding both its core technical team and its political and public affairs team.What you will do:Co-develop the company’s public affairs portfolio as part of Hypersonica’s Government Affairs teamSupport and where necessary deputise for Hypersonica’s Political Affairs DirectorMonitor, analyse, and report on relevant political, policy, and legislative developments in selected European countries and at the EU and NATO levelsEnsure reliable and continuous practical support for public affairs and public communications activitiesEssential qualifications:A Master’s degree in political science, International Relations, law, economics, European studies, or a related disciplineTwo to five years of previous work experience (including internships) in relevant fieldsGood general understanding of political, institutional, and legislative processes and willingness to learn more particularly in the area of defence & aerospaceCulture driver with a moral compass: you take responsibility and act like a leaderAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrityNATO / EU citizen; Fully proficient (CEFR A2) in EnglishWilling to work in / relocate to MunichDesirable qualifications:Previous experience in political institutions at the national and/or EU levelsPrevious experience or exposure to defence industry mattersPrevious experience in public affairs for a company or industry associationAdvanced level (CEFR A1) or higher in a Slavic, Scandinavian, or Baltic languageAdvanced level (CEFR A1) or higher in GermanWhat we offer:A unique journey building new technologies and capabilities for EuropeA mission-driven and values-driven teamCompetitive salary and conditions
