Driven by innovation, sustainability, and a commitment to top-tier customer experience, KEMROC aims to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs in the construction industry.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, for a Purchase/Procurement Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing operations, generating purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. Key responsibilities include identifying cost-effective purchasing options, maintaining supplier relationships, analyzing market trends for procurement strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to meet organizational needs effectively.System knowledge, like ERP/ Sage, is mandatory for this positionKey Responsibilities:1. Procurement & Purchasing·        Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, service, and delivery.·        Request and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.·        Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders (POs).·        Maintain approved vendor lists and ensure compliance with company procedures.·        Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.2. Vendor Management·        Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.·        Negotiate payment terms, contracts, and prices.·        Evaluate supplier performance regularly.·        Resolve any vendor issues (delays, defects, discrepancies).3. Cost Control & Budgeting·        Monitor purchasing budgets and aim for cost reductions without compromising quality.·        Track market trends and pricing changes.·        Identify alternative materials/products to reduce costs.4. Documentation & Compliance·        Maintain proper purchasing records, contracts, invoices, and approvals.·        Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies.·        Coordinate with finance for payments and documentation.·        Follow local government regulations and standards.5. Coordination·        Collaborate with the warehouse, finance, projects, and operations team.·        Ensure stock availability and avoid over-purchasing.·        Coordinate with logistics for delivery and customs clearance (if applicable).Skills & Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Commerce / Engineering (preferred). Experience:2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing (industry-specific experience is an added advantage).Skills:·        Strong negotiation and communication skills.·        Knowledge of procurement software or ERP systems.·        Good analytical and vendor evaluation skills.·        MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).·        Time management & problem-solving ability.
