Job description:Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing the inventory planning, ordering, delivery tracking of raw materials to production.Analyse quotes, generate purchase orders and in-inspection of materials.Manage supplier performance, competitiveness and quality standard as per ISO-9001:2015, ISO 45001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 requirements.Responsible for all material and technical parts directly & indirectly for the company and maintaining correct quotations and supplier information.To source and handle price negotiation process to achieve best price, lead time and quality purchases with the identified potential suppliers.Liaise with production planner regarding material requirements and work closely with suppliers to ensure on time delivery. (JIT system) and able to meet required inventory level.Able to monitor & control supplier delivery performances in terms of DIFOT, quality and S-car in order to meet production requirements.To perform P/O recipient and issue material in the GSS (ERP system). Need to compile documents and pass to the account department for payment process.Submission of weekly and monthly reports on purchases.Submission of KPI reports and presentation on monthly basis.To maintain working environment standards and IMS policies are always well implemented.To follow the manual and operation guide of the Store according to the Store section.RequirementDiploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management with at least 3-5 years and experience as a buyer in the Manufacturing Industry.Good in negotiation and communication skills.Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
