Role Type: Ongoing Part TimeSalary: $68,933- $73,151 p.a plus super (pro rata)Join a role central to the smooth operation of our institute. You will coordinate deliveries, assist colleagues with procurement and travel systems, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues efficiently.The OpportunityThe Purchasing function is central to enabling the requisitioning and provisioning of products and services to facilitate the institute’s research and operational activities. Primary responsibilities of this role include daily processing of inbound deliveries and storing them appropriately for collection by the end user, supporting end users by providing advice on use of the procurement system and following up orders as well as assisting with the management of the Institute’s corporate travel solution.What You’ll DoAccurately receive and receipt deliveries from external suppliers, storing them as per manufacturers’ requirements until collected by an end userNotify end users of arrival of goods, as well as capture which end user collected the order(s) so as to maintain a custody trail in the event of queriesLiaise with external suppliers and customs with regards to estimated delivery time, back orders and any other delivery related issuesFollow up and resolve issues with suppliers around missing or incorrect goods being delivered in a timely mannerEnsure all goods are delivered with proper documentation (delivery dockets, certificates, AQIS permits, invoices etc.) as required to promptly receipt orders and match them with invoicesWhat You’ll BringAn understanding of the Procure to Pay cycle - the process of requisitioning, ordering, receiving, paying and accounting for goods and servicesStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyA positive can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesHigh level of verbal and written communication skillsIntermediate level of Microsoft ExcelPlease view the position description here.Any questions?
