Purchasing Manager

DescriptionReporting to the Deputy Director of Engineering Purchasing & Materials, this person will manage the sourcing, purchasing, and distribution of all aircraft parts for our fleet of over 600 aircraft. The successful candidate will play an essential role in ensuring we have sufficient parts and materials to support Europe’s largest airline. Management of BFE to ensure all parts meet on-dock dates.Supporting Heavy Maintenance Materials requirements.Supporting Line Maintenance Materials requirements.Vendor Management ensuring Suppliers effectively support our operation.Preparation and control of Purchasing Budget & CAPEXManagement of the open PO Book to ensure timely delivery of components.Cost controlManagement of the Warranty groupManagement of the Invoicing groupContract negotiation.AOG and defect control.KPI development for Purchasing.
