If you’re driven by creativity, excellence, and a desire to be part of something extraordinary, we invite you to help bring this vision to life.Job DescriptionAs Purchasing Manager at Faena Red Sea, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring this standard—leading procurement with precision, negotiating strategically, and ensuring every department is fully supported to deliver world-class service.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and manage the hotel's purchasing strategy to ensure best value and qualitySource, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices as necessaryManage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods and servicesConduct market research and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsCollaborate with department heads to identify purchasing needs and develop specifications for goods and servicesEnsure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsAnalyze and report on purchasing performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actionsDevelop and manage the purchasing budget, ensuring alignment with the hotel's business objectivesLead and develop the purchasing team, providing guidance, training, and support as necessaryMonitor inventory levels, ensuring efficiency, zero waste, and readiness for both planned and unexpected demand. Collaborate with Finance on spend analysis, cost control, and budget optimization without compromising quality. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and Faena brand standards. Champion sustainable and eco-conscious sourcing, elevating our commitment to environmental responsibility. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a hospitality or related industryProven track record of cost savings and process improvementsStrong track record in premium sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiationExpertise in procurement systems (Birchstreet), inventory management, and reportingFluency in English (Arabic is a plus)Exceptional financial and analytical skills, with the ability to transform data into strategyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines Additional InformationFAENA The Red Sea is set to become a world-class destination, offering luxury accommodations, unparalleled service, and extraordinary experiences.
