The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the resort's purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maintaining quality standards.Source and purchase goods and services in line with hotel standards and specifications.Ensure all purchases comply with quality, safety, and sustainability requirements.Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, pricing, and availability.Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.Assist in issuing purchase orders through the procurement system and ensure proper documentation.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, reliability, and service.Conduct periodic evaluation of suppliers and recommend improvements or alternatives.Coordinate site visits, tastings, or product trials when required.Liaise with all departments (F&B, Kitchen, Engineering, Spa, Housekeeping, etc.) to understand their purchasing needs.Ensure timely communication regarding delivery delays, product changes, and alternatives.Assist in planning seasonal or special event purchasing requirements.Maintain an accurate and organized record of purchase requests, quotations, and purchase orders.Ensure all procurement activities follow internal SOPs and financial controls.Validate delivery documentation and reconcile with orders before processing.Support audits by ensuring proper documentation and traceability.Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability guidelines of Constance Hotels & Resorts.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably within the hospitality industryProficiency in procurement software and inventory management systemsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelExcellent negotiation and vendor management skillsAnalytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and ability to interpret dataOutstanding organisational and time management skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of hospitality industry supply chains and purchasing practicesUnderstanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements in procurementAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentFluency in English; knowledge of French or other languages would be advantageousAdditional InformationWORK WITH CONSTANCE🌿 Join a team where well-being, career development, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.We believe in continuous learning and growth to help our teams achieve their full potential.A strong family spirit is part of our identity, we support and care for one another.We offer international career opportunities, allowing you to develop within a renowned luxury hospitality group.Our passion for luxury hospitality is reflected in every detail of the guest experience.We are committed to environmental and societal contributions, integrating sustainability into everything we do.🌿We want our team members to feel valued and supported, offering a work environment that encourages excellence, personal growth, and cultural diversity.
