Looking to work with energy reduction solutions in a global organization committed to sustainability and innovation?Look no further and join the Purchasing team at Grundfos!What is the Job all about?This job will be responsible for handling providing administrative support to categories related to sourcing and relationship activities in close cooperation with the Category Manager.You will be reporting to the Purchasing Manager based in China and will be assigned to work in Hamamatsu, Japan.Your main responsibilities:◆ Value based sourcing related activities:Responsible cluster of local categoriesExecution of sourcing strategies by using the existing Purchasing Tools.Responsible for the tendering process (e RFI & RFQs and e-auctions).Support the creation updating of contractsResponsible for price and contract negotiations◆ Operational Procurement Management related activitiesResponsible for Vendor master dataResponsible for updating Purchasing conditionsSupport daily problems solving at site of plantsImprove supplier◆ Supplier Relationship Management related activities:Monitor the performance of suppliers (e.g. on-time deliveries, quality).Prepare and participate in follow-up with suppliers on performance against target and agreed development activities.Support the follow-up on improvement initiatives.Support classification of suppliers.Participate in developing the SRM strategies for key suppliers and relevant collaborative suppliers.Be part of a team of cross-functional key stakeholders.Project management.
