PV Sales Manager (Commercial, Industrial & Residential)

Job Description

I. Position OverviewThis role is primarily responsible for the sales and market promotion of the company's PV system products (including modules, inverters, and system integration) within a designated territory. The candidate will be required to actively develop and maintain clients in the commercial & industrial (C&I) distributed PV (B2B) and/or residential distributed PV (B2C) markets, in alignment with company strategy. Key objectives include achieving assigned sales targets, providing professional energy solutions to customers, and enhancing customer satisfaction and brand influence.II. Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Development & Client Acquisition (40%)C&I Focus: Responsible for developing owners of commercial and industrial rooftops/open spaces, such as those in industrial parks, factories, logistics parks, and commercial complexes. Utilize various methods including cold calling, industry exhibitions, channel partnerships, and government relations to establish and maintain customer relationships and identify potential project opportunities.Residential Focus: Responsible for developing residential PV distributors, installers, building materials markets, or direct end-users (C-end clients) within the region. Acquire customers through community promotion, cross-industry collaborations (e.g., with home appliance or renovation companies), and online marketing lead conversion.Conduct in-depth analysis of regional market dynamics, competitor landscape, and customer needs to formulate and execute effective regional market development plans.Sales Process Management & Project Advancement (30%)Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation, initial contact, technical solution communication, site survey, investment benefit analysis, quotation negotiation, contract signing, to payment collection.Coordinate internal resources from technical, design, engineering, and finance departments to create professional and competitive technical proposals and Return on Investment (ROI) analysis reports for clients, facilitating project closure.(For C&I) Possess project operation capabilities, handling complex tender processes and conducting business negotiations with senior client management.Customer Relationship & Channel Management (20%)Establish and regularly update customer files, maintain long-term customer relationships, and explore potential for repeat business or referrals.(For Residential) Develop and manage a network of distributors and installers within the region, providing them with product training, technical support, and market policy information to assist their sales activities.Market Intelligence & Collaboration (10%)Gather and feedback market information, customer needs, and competitor dynamics to assist the company in optimizing product and market strategies.Complete various sales reports as required by the company and actively participate in sales meetings and training sessions.III. Qualifications & RequirementsEssential QualificationsEducation & Major: Preferred degrees in Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Energy & Power Engineering, Mechatronics, Business Administration, or related fields.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience. Candidates with experience in the PV industry, power electrical, new energy, building materials & home furnishings, or B2B key account sales will be highly preferred.
