Python Developer

Blue Health is seeking a Python Developer with a strong focus on automation and scripting to support our healthcare technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that optimize workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and integrate seamlessly with existing systems. This position requires analytical thinking, scripting excellence, and hands-on experience in automating repetitive processes across applications, APIs, and databases.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and deploy Python-based automation scripts for system and process optimization.Design and maintain automation pipelines to streamline repetitive tasks and improve team productivity.Integrate automation with third-party APIs, databases, and cloud services.Build and maintain internal tools for data manipulation, report generation, and workflow orchestration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions.Ensure high code quality through version control, testing, and documentation.Utilize AI-driven scripting approaches to further optimize automation efficiency.Key RequirementsStrong proficiency in Python programming and scripting.Experience with automation libraries such as os, subprocess, schedule, or pyautogui.Familiarity with REST APIs, data handling (Pandas/Numpy), and database connectivity (SQL/SQLite).Understanding of task scheduling, system integration, and process automation principles.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Python scripting and automation.Exposure to AI or machine learning-based automation frameworks is an advantage.Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills.Note: Candidates must be comfortable working during 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM PST and should possess strong self-management and communication skills.
