QA - Software / Device Manager

At OptiSigns, we are looking for a QA - Software / Device Manager who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software and hardware solutions. This position will involve overseeing the QA processes for both software applications and hardware devices, ensuring that all products meet the high standards expected by our customers.As part of the QA team, you will develop and implement testing strategies, manage the QA team, and collaborate closely with the development and product management teams to achieve quality excellence. You will also be responsible for defining quality metrics and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement QA strategies for software applications and hardware devicesOversee the QA team's activities, ensuring effective testing processes are followedManage the testing lifecycle, including test case design, execution, and defect trackingCollaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and quality issuesEstablish quality metrics and reporting to assess product performance and identify areas for improvementEnsure compliance with industry standards and best practices in QAConduct training and mentorship for QA team membersRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in software and hardware QA, with a mix of bothAble to manage 4-5 junior QA engineersProven experience in leading QA teams and managing testing processesStrong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practicesExperience with automation testing tools and frameworks is a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsExperience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneouslyBenefitsBenefitsOpportunity to travel and work at our U.S. office in Houston, TXLatest Macbook ProCompetitive PayCompany TripPaid time offInsurance
