Job DefinitionDoxim is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with strong QA experience in project life cycle processes, who is excited by the opportunity to work with Customer Facing emails, Secure PDF Forms and Payment Testing for various billing companies. In this role, you will be required to work closely with both Project Managers and Development teams for test case creation and execution. You will also be involved in requirement reviews and test pack creation.Tasks And ResponsibilitiesGenerate test plans/cases based off of business requirementsExecute business cycle test cases against requirementsReview functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverablesUnderstanding business requirements to create data scenarios & test packsExecute manual testsExecute data testsCommunicate with stakeholders (written and verbal)Ability to think abstract – outside the box of potential issues that could potentially happenHold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team membersUse your knowledge and experience to anticipate areas of particular risk in the system, and prioritize testing to find important defects earlyWork closely with project managers, developers to communicate planned testing, testing progress, and status of the projectIsolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixesConducts audits, surveillance, and inspectionsDaily WIP (work in process) audits for both print and insertionReviews, analyze, and evaluates vendor/contractor activities, products, and reports to ensure delivery of service and materials Maintains company Forms directoryMaintains company Work Instructions directoryReviews work processes for complianceConducts ‘Startups’ for all programming changesLeads the annual (or semi-annual) management review meetingBUSINESS SKILLSExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, problem solving, and learning skillsDiligent and high attention to detailStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsStrong time management skillsExcellent multi-tasking skillsDetailed in writing step by step (recreating issues)Knowledge of Quality Systems Proficiency with Word Processing software (Word), Spreadsheet software (Excel), PDF software (Adobe), and Presentation software (PowerPoint)Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills (filing, punctuality, etc.)Self-motivated - work with minimal supervision to achieve goalsAbility to adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical, problem solving, and learning skillsDiligent and high attention to detailStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsStrong time management skillsExcellent multi-tasking skillsDetailed in writing step by step (recreating issues)QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science or related technical field2+ years of experience in a software testing / quality assurance roleExperience with automated testing and toolsExcellent knowledge of quality theory, concepts, tools, and methodologies of QAUnderstanding and experience in testing of client/server, software and browser-based applicationsDemonstrate knowledge of Software test/release process. Thorough understanding of testing methodologiesExperience with defect management software and proceduresHands on experience with web-based applicationsExcellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Lifecycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies from project definition to post-deployment documentation cyclesHTML, XML, JavaScript, SQLDocument processing/ECM experience preferredFinancial Sector experience preferredWORKING CONDITIONSWorking from HomeOccasional overtime/weekend work requiredAbility to work in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environmentMust be able to work EST time zonePowered by JazzHRU7fgtVcsyu
