You will collaborate closely with other senior and mid-level QA engineers and cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, define test scenarios and prepare test data, report and analyze the test results. Your role will involve ensuring adherence to quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to the overall success of our software development lifecycle.Daily challengesDefines, identifies, collects, and organizes detailed information related to testing requirementsInteracts with the teams to gain understanding of the business environment, technical context, and conformance criteriaDevelop test cases, test scenarios, test plans for manual or automated testing. Perform manual or automated testing to validate software functionalityEnsure the software quality and reliabilityIdentify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking toolsCollaborate with development and cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of issuesAnalyze test results and provide recommendations for improvementsSupport knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions, communities, and testing collateral improvement through lessons learnedMentor and provide guidance to less experienced QA team membersManage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within the projectContribute to the development and enhancement of testing processes and methodologiesProvide testing support during software release cyclesParticipate in team meetings and discussionsAttend company trainings for cross-skilling and/or upskillingEXperience And Skills RequiredBachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Finance, Business management, or similar field of study is preferrable2+ years of experience as a Tester/Quality Assurance engineer in IT projects (is preferable)Experience in delivering automated testing services for projects of various sizes and industries is preferableExperience in test automation tooling and interest in the latest trends and processes in the test automation area is preferrableKnowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and the Software Test Life Cycle, including Agile methodologyStrong understanding of software testing concepts, QA methodologies, and testing processesExperience with bug-tracking tools and test management systemsFluent EnglishSolid command of the Microsoft Office Suite productsSecond foreign language is considered an advantageStrong communication skills, verbal and written, and product sense – ability to communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all customers, partners, and users, internal and externalAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEagerness to learn and grow in the field of software quality assuranceCompany BenefitsAt DXC Technology, we don’t just offer jobs - we build careers.
