We are looking to grow our current team to meet these customer needs and will use your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to innovate complex solutions.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesIn This Role, You WillResponsible for testing a feature and or a small feature set with ability to work independently, break down problems and estimate time for quality related tasksDemonstrate increasing expertise in application domain and functional areasResponsible for test case development and maintenance (manual/automation)Good experience of developing or expanding test automationExperience of Agile ways of workingExperience of non-functional testingImplement and configures testing tools and at times help junior staffActively support on-going development of testing processes and implementation of testing best practice within scrum teamsCollaborate with development team in bug fixing and build plansEnsure defect and test automation backlogs have a plan for resolution.Apply various testing types and methodologies effectively during SDLCTake ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessaryApply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing TechniquesWork independently and delivers testing and use case creation which meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectWrite effective tests according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified and tests remain valid when code is refactoredConnects, inspires, and builds loyalty & commitment through inclusion.Technical Skills: Some of the following: Experience in both functional (backend and UI) and non-functional automation testing (e.g. performance, security, scalability)Good knowledge and experience of some of the technologies/tools e.g. SoapUI, Jenkins, JMeter, Qtest , Angular, Node, Test Cafe, NestJS, Postgres, , JUnit, REST Assured,K6 performance , GitHub Actions, JavaKnowledge of Kubernetes and DockerExperience of shift left approach to quality by adopting agile ways of workingGood knowledge and experience of testing cloud-based solutions, Restful Web services and micro-service architecturesExperience of TDD (test-driven development) and BDDExperience of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.Education QualificationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)ISTQB or other test qualifications.Business AcumenHas the ability to take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessaryVoices opinions and presents clear rationale.
