THIS IS A LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.Location: Pune (Hybrid) – (Once a week in office)Shift: General (IST Hours)Experience: 9+ years overall experienceWe are seeking an experienced QA Manual Tester IV to join our client’s team and contribute to ensuring the delivery of top-quality web and API applications.Primary SkillsWeb application testing (manual functional and regression testing)API and REST API testing using tools such as Postman or BrunoUI automation basics using Selenium, Cypress, or PlaywrightStrong understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and reportingSecondary SkillsPerformance testing using tools like JMeter or BlazeMeterExposure to mobile application testingFamiliarity with AI-based testing tools or frameworksQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience9+ years of hands-on QA/testing experienceProven experience in manual testing of web and API-based applicationsFamiliarity with API automation using RestAssured (Java) is a plusExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsStrong collaboration skills in Agile development environmentsResponsibilitiesPerform manual testing of web and desktop applications for functional and non-functional quality.Conduct manual API testing to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of REST services.Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and managers to design and execute detailed test plans and test cases.Log, track, and retest defects to ensure thorough resolution.Utilize Postman/Bruno for API testing and validation.Provide regular testing progress updates and communicate critical issues effectively.Assist in UI automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).Support API automation initiatives using RestAssured (Java).Ideal CandidateA detail-oriented professional with a passion for delivering high-quality software.Strong understanding of QA best practices and defect management workflows.A collaborative communicator who thrives in a hybrid, cross-functional global team.Self-motivated, adaptable, and continuously learning new testing tools and frameworks.Our large, Fortune client is ranked among the best companies to work for globally.
