This unique coverage is required to effectively implement technological and medical progress into practice.Roles and responsibilitiesUnderstand the product requirements and specificationsUnderstand and promote the various testing types. Be able to select the most appropriate one for a given project or project phaseCreate and maintain testing plans based on risk assessment and time constraintsReview bug prioritesConduct systematic tests (automatic and manual) at the integration and system levelsImplement non-functional testsBe able to analyze and interpret test resultsHelp the service and support teams to create, maintain and execute FAT for and with customersReport product defects, quality issues & risks, test results in a clear way, if necessary by also pre-analyzing application logsEnsure the follow-up of the workflow of defects; verify the defect solutionsMaintain test environments and keep them up-to-date with product deliverablesMaintain test data and parametrizationAssist in packaging and releasing software updates (service packs)Required Skills And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in computing (or equivalent degree or experience)Experience and interest in software testing including test automationExperience with software testing and automation tools is a plusExperience with non-functional testing is a plus. In particular performance (load, stress, volume, … ) and security testingKnowledge of software packaging tools (e.g. InstallShield) is a plusISTQB certification is a plusSoft skillsResult oriented and proactiveTeam spirit and good communication skills; shares information, reports on time, accepts other opinions and responds to criticism constructivelyWorks autonomously, but gets help where necessaryDoes not give up when the difficulties show up; Does not lose control under pressureUnderstand and push the customer point of viewOpen for change and continuous learningFluent in English (knowledge of French, German or Dutch is a plus)What we offerA stimulating position with creative challenges in a multinational environment.
