Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of this position is to lead/manage/improve overall safety and quality measures at Kyoto site and the Power solution segment in Japan through evolving a high Safety/Quality awareness and culture.It is expected to strengthen the current Quality and EHS organization with autonomous leadership at all levelsReport toPlant Director KyotoJob ResponsibilitiesThe position has the responsibility of 2 area in Quality and EHS(Environment, Health and Safety).In both areas, the position will lead/manage and improve the key measures in Kyoto plant for these 2 areas Key responsibility in Quality includes followingsImprove quality culture in the plantLead and manage the activities in following 5 areas, ManagementSystems/Customer Quality/Operations Quality/Supplier Quality/R&D QualityRelationship management with key customersMaintain ISO9001 Certification and achieve gaining IATF QMS certification through updating the current Quality practice and proceduresManage Quality KPIs – External/internal PPM, Cost of poor quality, set up and brush up the organization to manage the responsibility abov Key responsibility in EHS includes followingsImprove Safety culture in the plant aiming zero incidentManage EHS KPIs - # of incident, Total recordable accident, CO2 footprint,Maintain ISO140001 certification and achieve gaining ISO45000 certificationthrough updating the EHS practice/procedureRun plant safety committee with key managers and union membersEHS Engineer(s) and QA managers in each area are assumed to report this position, potentially several quality engineer may directly report to this position as wellBackground & SkillsKey Requirements Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or 高専 5+ years of working experience for quality in manufacturing environment (Automotiveindustry as preferable) 3+ years of working experience as people leader Experience in manufacturing EHS will be a plus Good knowledge in management systems (ISO/IATF) Solid experience in developing a strong organization Fluent in both Japanese/EnglishEmployee BenefitsWork environmenLocationKyoto planOther BenefitsCheck the Danfoss Key Company ProfileDanfoss – Engineering TomorrowAt Danfoss, we are engineering solutions that allow the world to use resources in smarter ways - driving the sustainable transformation of tomorrow.
