Financial Accountant (Qualified)📍 Location: Onsite in Ballsbridge, Dublin (3 days per week)⏳ Duration: 11 months contractPay rate - €52 to €58 per hourAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a high-performing International Compliance team within a fast-paced, global organisation. This position offers exposure to a wide range of EMEA entities and the opportunity to support exciting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects across multiple regions.You’ll take ownership of entity management, statutory compliance, and audit preparation, while working closely with internal cross-functional partners (Tax, Treasury, Legal) and external stakeholders (Big 4 firms, auditors, and local accountants).Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple EMEA entities from a US GAAP reporting and local compliance standpoint.Lead processes for M&A integrations and liquidation of dormant entities.Oversee preparation of corporation tax and VAT returns, statutory financial statements, and audit coordination.Review and collaborate with outsourced accounting partners.Support system and process improvements across the finance function.Drive compliance deliverables and ensure timely financial reporting across jurisdictions.About YouQualified Accountant with at least 2+ years’ post-qualification experience in a multinational environment.Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP (exposure to multiple countries such as France, Spain, UK, Israel, Denmark, etc., is highly desirable).Experienced in audit, statutory reporting, and M&A entity management.Excellent communicator with proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.Proficient in Excel; experience with Oracle ERP or similar systems is advantageous.Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.Why Join?This is a unique opportunity to gain international exposure, manage a diverse portfolio of entities, and contribute to a fast-evolving organisation with a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Interested?If you are a motivated and detail-oriented accountant who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and variety in your work, we’d love to hear from you.
