SDET / QA Automation Engineer – 12 Month Contract💶 €435/day | Hybrid (Dublin, Ireland)I’m working with a global technology leader seeking an experienced SDET / QA Automation Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team on a 12-month daily-rate contract.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about automation, performance, and quality contributing to world-class systems at enterprise scale.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with software engineers to embed quality at every stage — ensuring robust test coverage, performance monitoring, and configuration qualityDevelop and implement QA standards, processes, and tools that drive continuous improvementDesign and execute performance test strategies and plans, translating complex requirements into effective test approachesIdentify, implement, and enhance test automation frameworks using Java, JUnit, and Rest AssuredTroubleshoot and replicate complex issues, ensuring seamless resolutionDefine and maintain best practices for end-to-end performance managementEvaluate and recommend testing tools and emerging technologies to strengthen automation capabilitiesContribute to (and occasionally lead) initiatives aimed at elevating QA excellence across the organisationSkills & Experience:Strong test automation expertise, particularly with JavaProven experience in JUnit, Rest Assured, and API testingSolid understanding of the Java test automation stackExperience building upon existing frameworks and enhancing test coverageBackground in the payments industry is highly desirableContract Details:Duration: 12 monthsRate: €435/dayModel: Hybrid in Dublin, IrelandInterview Process: Single stageIf you’re a driven Automation Engineer who takes pride in building high-quality, scalable systems, I’d love to chat.📩 Apply now or message me for a confidential discussion.
