Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with Finance and/or Fintech background to join our dynamic team. This role involves creating solutions to our clients in the trade finance, credit assessment and compliance space.The Company:Top Code S.L.U. is the newly established Madrid-based development hub of KS‑TF AG, created to internalize and strengthen the company’s software engineering capabilities. As a wholly owned subsidiary, Top Code S.L.U- unites a team of 15+ experienced developers specializing in Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, and the proprietary KS-TF software suite.Technologies & SkillsCypress, Selenium, Postman, Swagger, Automation Testing, API testing, Java, Jira, Financial data validation, PlayWright, PythonResponsibilities• Develop and execute automated test strategies • Design, implement, and maintain automated functional and integration test suites• Validate the functionality and quality of features through end-to-end testing in applications built with React, Python, and Java• Participate in the CI/CD lifecycle by triggering builds, verifying test runs, and analyzing results using tools such as GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins, or similar• Conduct exploratory testing and report bugs clearly with sufficient detail to support rapid resolution• Use tools like Selenium, Postman, Swagger/API Dog, and others to automate and validate API and UI workflows• Coordinate and communicate QA status and risks to technical leads and project managers• Provide occasional support to development tasks depending on capacity and interestRequired Skills:• Knowledge of financial data validation and edge case testing• Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating QA processes into workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)• Familiarity with Docker for setting up local environments and test containers• Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or API Dog• Solid understanding of React-based frontends and Python/Java backends• Ability to write, review, and debug test code efficientlyPreferred Qualifications:• Background in fintech QA automation (minimum 5 years)• Understanding of audit trails and data lineage• Experience with performance testing or security testing• Basic knowledge of infrastructure-as-code or DevOps practices• English & Spanish (B2 minimum)
