The QA Manager will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System at the Haznedar-Durer plant, in full alignment with Calderys EMEA standards and ISO 9001:2015 requirements. The role ensures compliance with customer and regulatory expectations, coordinates audits, manages documentation, and drives corrective/preventive actions. The QA Manager will also ensure that quality-related data and progress are consistently updated in the EMEA-wide global action plan. This position requires strong technical expertise, structured problem-solving, and the ability to lead quality initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the plant.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management System (QMS): Maintain and update the QMS in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and corporate requirements. Ensure integration of QMS with day-to-day plant operations and business processes. Own and update quality documentation (manuals, procedures, instructions, forms). Audits & Compliance Plan and conduct internal audits; ensure findings are addressed through corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate external audits (customers, certification bodies, authorities) and support follow-up. Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements regarding product quality and safety. Reporting & Coordination Provide regular updates of quality KPIs, actions, and improvement projects into the EMEA central action plan. Ensure quality performance and progress are properly documented and communicated. Collaborate with corporate QA/Opex functions to align practices and share best methods. Training & Awareness Promote awareness of the quality policy, objectives, and process approach among all plant employees. Provide training and support to teams to strengthen quality culture and operational discipline. Ensure alignment with Occupational Health & Safety regulations in all quality practices. Continuous Improvement Support problem-solving and root cause analysis for non-conformities. Encourage risk-based thinking and process improvement across all functions. Actively contribute to cross-functional projects (product transfer, process optimization, customer complaints resolution). Qualifications & Education Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Lisans) in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Industrial Engineering. Alternatively, a Technical Vocational School degree (MYO) in a related field, combined with relevant experience, can be considered. ISO 9001 knowledge or certification (internal auditor training is a plus but not mandatory at hiring stage). 1–3 years of professional experience in quality, production, or industrial operations. Previous exposure to manufacturing environment (ceramics, cement, automotive, chemicals, or similar) preferred but not mandatory. Refractory-specific experience not required – training will be provided. Good computer literacy (MS Office required; ERP/QMS software knowledge is a plus). At least basic English proficiency (reading documentation, reporting to corporate). Detail-oriented, organized, able to manage documentation rigorously. Proactive and problem-solving mindset, willing to grow into the role. Strong communication skills to liaise with production, maintenance, and corporate QA teams.
