Co. comes with a family friendly culture, on-the-job training, advancement opportunities, and the chance to make a difference every single day.SummaryResponsible for Quality Assurance activities of the Dubuque factory and foundry, including supervision and scheduling of the Quality Assurance Technicians, facilitating quality related investigations and corrective actions, documentation of plant procedures and work instructions and maintaining Quality Department equipment.ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance Technicians, including scheduling, assignments, and performance reviewsInvestigate quality related issues using 5 WHY, Cause and Effect, FMEA and other tools to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.Quality related issues and decisions for the Dubuque factory and foundry, including the disposition of DMRs, RMAs and supplier related issuesDaily production checks, inspections, and quality issuesDevelop, operate, and train personnel on department related software and equipmentMaintenance and operation of CMM, XRF scanner, Contractor, and other measuring equipmentMaintenance and implementation of all QA related softwareProblem solving within the department, facility and companyInternal audits, including review of audits and recommend actionsReduction in waste using data analysis from Power BI, Epicor and SPC related toolsIdentifying the need for and developing work instructionsCoordinate quality related training as needed by plant personnelImplementation of new product including sample approvalMaterial analysis using OES, AA, and X-ray Spectrometers (as applicable)Research and recommend equipment processes for the department.Third-party audits and visits including U.L. and CSA.Troubleshooting and calibration of electronic testersDevelopment and updates of inspection plans and SPC setupTraining coworkers on the use of SPC softwareOther duties assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University and three to five years’ related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.BenefitsBenefits include major medical (BCBS), Delta dental and vision, company sponsored basic life insurance and short-term disability.
