 Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnelMay establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operationsConducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systemsOn the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methodsMay assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilitiesFormulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.

 May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower-level professionals.  The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies – from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skillsQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering1 year of relevant experience Knowledge in conducting time studies and applying line balancing techniques to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize wastePossesses knowledge of SMED methodology or demonstrates the capability to identify opportunities for reducing changeover timesKnowledge in AutoCAD layouts to support space utilization, product segregation and the analysis and optimization of material flowAvailable for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift
