The Biologics Manufacturing Center (BMC) Inc. is a new biomanufacturing facility created in response to the pandemic. A not-for-profit organization, the BMC aims to better meet the biopharmaceutical needs of Canadians. The BMC helps support projects of public interest, actively contributes to the overall growth and resilience of the Canadian life sciences industry and fosters industry development and innovation through Canadian production.  Backed by a committed and innovative team of employees, the BMC fosters a culture of agility and transparency, with a collaborative, result-oriented approach. We are looking for a Quality Control Analyst to join our team in charge of the biological analysis of in-process products, intermediates, and finished products. The individual will also participate in the development, validation, and transfer of analytical methods. The Analyst will have the following responsibilities: Perform analyses on products and proteins using analytical and compendial methodsCompile, read, and record data related to tests and reports in compliance with SOPs and GMP requirements, while ensuring data integrityParticipate in the development, validation, and transfer of analytical methodsDraft and review documentation related to quality controlContribute to managing laboratory material inventory and order new items as neededCollaborate on investigations of out-of-specification or out-of-trend resultsIssue certificates of analysis;Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipmentComplete all assigned training;Use scientific expertise to provide support for diagnostics, laboratory investigations, and problem-solvingComply with and promote established health and safety guidelines, processes, and procedures, including risk identification.  This role matches your career aspirations?
