Key ResponsibilitiesDaily site reviews of subtrade works. Conducting quality activities aligned with project scope as per the contract terms and conditions.Performing visual examinations, witnessing, monitoring, and/or documenting as per project quality and inspection testing plans.Liaising with Owner representatives and consultants on quality related items.Monthly written quality reports.Preparation and issuance of NCR’s, NCR follow-up and loggingStaying current with industry practices and technologies and seeking new and innovative construction methods and processes.Hosting and preparation of Passive House meeting minutes.Assisting Site Superintendent with some daily data collection tasks.Preparation of CAD sketches to assist with RFI submissions and subtrade coordination.Reviewing schedules.Participation in weekly subtrade meetings.Key Qualifications/RequirementsDegree or diploma from an accredited engineering program, construction management program, or a related discipline.2-5 years of experience working in the construction industry.Working knowledge of pertinent regulations, codes, and specifications related to construction.Ability to demonstrate leadership, even in situations without authority.Position requires proactive skillsets and a level of self-motivation to achieve a successful completion to complex interactions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Able to lead the effective implementation of operational best practices, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.Strong attention to detail.Self-directed, motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.What Amico Can Offer YouCompetitive SalaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer Matching Retirement ProgramLife insuranceAt Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
