Quality Control Engineer

Position Overview:As a Software Tester, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications. You will take ownership of test planning and execution, collaborate closely with developers and product teams, and contribute to improving our QA processes and automation efforts.Key Responsibilities:Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases based on product requirements and user storiesPerform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on web and/or mobile applicationsReport, track, and verify bugs using tools like Jira or Azure DevOpsCollaborate with developers to isolate and reproduce issues and ensure timely fixesContribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suitesProvide input on improvements to QA practices, processes, and toolsParticipate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectivesRequirements:1–3 years of experience in software testingSolid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practicesHands-on experience with manual and automated testingFamiliarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman for API testing)Working knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Java)Experience using version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins)Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesExposure to performance or security testing toolsISTQB or other relevant QA certifications
