Job Description

The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, auditing, and validating calibration invoices and related documentation to ensure complete accuracy and adherence to company and OEM standards. This individual will follow a regimented quality assurance process, identifying discrepancies, ensuring compliance, and supporting process improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency. This position reports directly to the Director of Training and plays a key role in maintaining the company's reputation for excellence and reliability in calibration services.Responsibilities Review and verify calibration invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards and OEM position statements. Ensure all supporting documentation—including photos, reports, and calibration data—is properly uploaded and matches the corresponding invoice. Identify errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and work with operations teams to resolve them promptly. Follow a standardized QC checklist and process to maintain consistency and ensure every invoice meets quality benchmarks. Track and document quality metrics, trends, and recurring issues to identify opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with administrative staff to reinforce quality and documentation standards. Maintain organized digital records and ensure compliance with audit and insurance requirements. Provide weekly feedback and reports to leadership on QC performance, trends, and improvement initiativesWork Schedule - Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm ESTRequirements3+ years of experience in quality control, auditing, or administrative review (automotive, insurance, or service industry experience preferred)Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; able to perform repetitive review tasks with consistency and precision. Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling a high volume of documents efficiently. Proficient in digital document management systems and basic data analysis tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow structured processes while identifying ways to streamline or improve workflows. High degree of integrity and accountability, with a commitment to maintaining top-quality standards
