Quality Controller

What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a QC to ensure customer requirements and standards are achieved by providing an effective and efficient quality control service‍The Position‍‍Undertake quality and label checks in the Packhouse, record findings and highlight any discrepancies to relevant managersEnsure accurate checking of codes/dates/promotional labelsTake reference photos to aid in traceability and prove/support with the legal complianceInspect the quality of finished product and raw material against relevant specifications, and if required, explain the specification to other employeesCommunicate effectively on quality issues with other internal departments and ensure action is taken promptlyProvide our customers with products that meet their specification at all timesSupport and advise production in relation to quality requirementsWork together with the team to implement corrective action to improve the quality of the product to within specificationNotify the Team Leader/Management team of any quality or processing issues and to explain what the required quality levels should be as laid out in the customer specificationsKeep your work area in a good, clean condition and follow the clean as you go procedureCarry out various audits: glass & plastic, document control, procedure and process, GMP, Shelf Life checksMake sure the product traceability is being followed throughout the processPerson specification‍‍Previous QC experience within the food industry (preferable)Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levelsStrong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work to deadlinesBe thorough and have good attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of team and able to follow instructionsWhy Join Moulton Bulb Company?‍We are dedicated to investing in our people by providing ongoing training and development opportunities to support your career growth.
