Full Job DescriptionAbout the Role Reporting to the National Quality Manager – New Zealand, the Quality Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of project quality systems and processes. You’ll help ensure project activities comply with McConnell Dowell’s quality standards, procedures, and client requirements.Key Responsibilities IncludeSupporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of project quality management plans and systems.Assisting with audits, inspections, and testing activities to verify compliance.Coordinating quality documentation and records to ensure accuracy, traceability, and accessibility.Supporting project teams with non-conformance management, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Providing guidance to project staff on quality procedures and requirements.What You’ll NeedMinimum 3 years’ experience in a quality or compliance coordination role, within the civil construction industry.Strong attention to detail and understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001).Confident using digital quality or document management systems (such as CMO, Aconex, or SharePoint).Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.A proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated approach with a passion for delivering quality outcomes.Don’t tick all the boxes but still keen?Great people don’t always come with a checklist.
