Job Description

We are representing a FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization that is actively seeking a Quality Engineer due to rapid growth and expansion. POSITION OVERVIEWThe Quality Engineer utilizes quality and continuous improvement tools and methodology to enhance the quality assurance program, solve problems and avoid repeat issues.Use structured problem solving tools to understand product issues, obtain failed units, and perform root-cause analysis.Work cross functionally with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and OperationsImprove existing and help develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and work with Quality Analytics to build data models for early detection of product issues.Provide regular updates on issues, metrics, and improvement initiatives.POSITION REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.4+ years in a design/manufacturing environment focused on customer quality, issue resolution, or product improvement.
