GalwayOn-Site Cambus TeorantaJoin our team as a Quality Engineer I Responsibilities Play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.Support day-to-day quality activities across production, engineering, and process teams.Investigate and resolve product or process issues using structured problem-solving tools (A3, PDCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.).Analyse data to uncover trends, drive improvements, and share insights with the wider team.Take part in internal and external audits, helping to maintain compliance across all operations.Contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives that make a real impact.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop smarter, more efficient ways of working.Learn from experienced engineers and grow your technical and professional expertise every dayQualifications Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, or Quality, or equivalent experience in a Quality Assurance role within the Medical Device Industry.Around 3 years’ experience in a similar role (or relevant placement experience).A sharp eye for detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.Strong communication skills - confident working with colleagues across all levels.Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., MiniTab) is an advantage.Understanding of Lean principles - Lean Green Belt certification is a plus.Passion for delivering quality and continuous improvement in everything you do.The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
