Quality Engineer (QAQC)

Job DescriptionThe Quality Engineer leads the Quality Control (QC) team in conducting inspection and testing activities. This role is responsible for developing inspection standards, specifications, and quality documentation; handling and analyzing quality issues; conducting product reliability tests; improving inspection methods; and verifying quality standards to ensure product quality and compliance with company and customer requirements.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain inspection standards, inspection forms, work instructions, and QC engineering drawings for the Quality Department.Ensure implementation of approved inspection standards and update them promptly according to operational needs.Review and verify all inspection documents to ensure their applicability and accuracy.Regularly review and dispose of expired quality documents in accordance with company procedures.Lead the analysis of customer complaints and organize review meetings with relevant departments.Develop and verify corrective and preventive actions (8D reports), ensuring effective implementation and communication with customers.Conduct reliability tests for new or incoming products, record and analyze test data, and submit approved reports to relevant parties.Participate in establishing and implementing company quality policies, objectives, and control systems.Coordinate cross-functionally to support continuous quality improvement and system compliance.Oversee calibration and maintenance of inspection instruments and equipment to ensure operational accuracy.Manage equipment inventory and initiate scrapping for obsolete or irreparable instruments.RequirementsEducation: Degree or above in Mechatronics or related engineering field.Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality management or related quality engineering functions.Technical Skills:Proficient in quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, SWOT, PDCA, PPAP, 8D, FMEA, and 5W2H.Strong understanding of quality management systems, reliability testing, and inspection documentation control.Familiar with ISO quality standards and manufacturing inspection processes.Soft Skills:Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities, capable of coordinating across departments.Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
