These activities may support product releases at suppliers, root cause investigations, or risk-based incoming inspections. Based on your findings, you will advise Quality Assurance Engineers and act as a sparring partner in determining next steps.As a member of the Measurement and Inspection team, you will continuously contribute to improving the department and serve as a centre of expertise for measurement and inspection activities, helping keep quality standards high and up to date.This role requires drive and initiative. A proactive mindset is essential, with a strong focus on ensuring product quality and learning from past experiences—Every Day Better! 😊ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and report measurements and inspectionsMonitor ongoing measurement and inspection activitiesAdvise QA Engineers on product releases at suppliersSupport QA Engineers with root cause analyses of quality issuesActively contribute to continuous improvement initiativesRepresent QA and present findings to stakeholdersCollaborate with a team of QA professionals and coordinate with the global quality community on processes, practices, and improvementsWork according to agreed global procedures and standards, acting as a role model for fellow QA Engineers and InspectorsWhat do we ask from you?Experience with mechanical metrologyExperience with geometric tolerances and dimensioningExperience with the production of mechanical componentsBasic knowledge of statistics (e.g., histograms, process capability)Excellent communication skills, with strong command of spoken and written EnglishYou should apply ifYou are a team player and an effective communicator who can adapt communication styles and influencing techniquesYou are a self-starter who can work according to planYou are analytical and able to link measurement and inspection outcomes to potential business risks and opportunitiesYou are a quality ambassador who can professionally represent QA at suppliersAbout the teamThe Quality Assurance team consists of QA engineers and QA inspectors/metrologists. The department acts as both gatekeeper and advisor to ensure and maintain a high-quality standard for all parts and products. This is achieved through close cooperation with Supply Chain, R&D, and Project Execution stakeholders.Key activities are structured around four focus areas: Release the Product, Manage the Supplier, Solve the Incident, and Measure & Inspect. This structure ensures effective management of all Supplier Quality Assurance activities and supports the development of high-quality, sustainable equipment and services through strong supplier relationships.
