Can you see the bigger picture while understanding how the parts influence the whole?About the Role | Quality Specialist in the Center of ExcellenceAs a Quality Specialist within the IT Quality space, you will join our Nordic team in Governance, Risk & Control. This role offers you the opportunity to shape and elevate Tryg’s approach to quality assurance, governance, and process maturity together with your colleague. You will lead initiatives that strengthen our quality framework, support strategic projects from a quality perspective, and ensure alignment with regulatory and internal standards including Tryg’s IT Security Control Framework.Your work will help ensure transparency, accountability, and a strong quality culture across the organization.Key responsibilities include:Lead and coordinate management reporting related to quality metrics and process maturity.Develop and maintain quality governance frameworks, policies, and standards.Facilitate process reviews and assessments to identify improvement opportunities.Support strategic initiatives by embedding quality assurance practices.Drive continuous improvement activities across IT teams.Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and risk teams to ensure alignment.Maintain and track yearly quality plans and KPIs.Since our IT- organization is in a dynamic phase, the role will be refined over time depending on what the organization needs. You will have an opportunity to shape the role. This also means that you are comfortable with being in a large, fast-moving organization where we may not have all the answers from the get-go, but we make sure to find them together.About You | Structured, Collaborative, and Improvement-OrientedTo thrive in this role, you have a higher education in IT, engineering, or business administration. Experience in quality assurance, process improvement, or governance is highly valued, but we also welcome candidates with a strong interest in developing these competencies through training and certification.You should bring strong skills in one or more of the following areas:Experience with or knowledge of working in an agile environmentFamiliarity with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).Knowledge of IT frameworks such as CIS18, ISO standards or similar.Proficiency in PowerPoint and experience with Confluence and Jira is an advantage.Experience with or a strong interest in training others and provide support to colleagues on all levels.Experience with management reporting and KPI tracking.Understanding the importance of stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination.Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with your colleagues You thrive in an environment where our differences make us stronger and you understand the requirements of working in a regulated business.We support teams in Denmark, Norway and Sweden and have colleagues from India. You will be part of the Governance, Risk & Control team which plays a critical role in defining and maintaining quality standards, supporting process maturity, and enabling continuous improvement across Tryg’s IT Department on strategic IT applications.
