Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our construction projects, you will play a crucial role in cost management, contract administration, and ensuring project financial success. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate accurate project costs Prepare and administer various building contracts, including main contracts, piling contracts, and nominated sub-contracts Measure and take off quantities for architectural, infrastructure, and structural work elements Assess variation orders and prepare interim valuations Develop cost plans and conduct budget studies for ongoing and future projects Compile and manage contract documents throughout the project lifecycle Ensure compliance with local building regulations and codes in Saudi Arabia Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance work Collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to allocate work effectively Analyze project outcomes and write detailed progress reports Provide expert advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution Stay updated on different building contracts in current use within the industry Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent qualification Minimum of 15 years of experience in pre and post contract work within consultancy or main contractor environments Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Strong skills in cost calculation, analysis, and quantity take-off Experience in contract administration and variation order assessment Expertise in developing cost plans, budgets, and interim valuations In-depth knowledge of building regulations and construction industry standards Proficiency in quantity surveying software such as CostX or Buildsoft Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Strong communication and negotiation abilities Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and organization Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia (preferred) Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise progress reports Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
