Quantity Surveyor - Data Centers Germany ResponsibilitiesValidate tender following award of project with the Project Manager/DirectorAssist in preparation of project CCS by analysing the tender and project requirementsPrepare cash flow by analysing the timing of billings and costsCompile monthly reports in accordance with the Group standard proceduresWhere applicable, carry out site measures with Construction and Planning Teams in accordance with contractual proceduresEnsure timely submission of claims/notices in accordance with provisions of contractEnsure that areas of concern are highlighted relating to contract costs, sales, and contributionEnsure that you attend monthly commercial and subcontractor meetingsDraft pre- and post-contract correspondence in consultation with the Project Manager/DirectorIdentify if material purchases are scope or variation to the budgetEnsure control of client invoicing by submission of invoices and tracking of payment etcAdminister payments to subcontractors and suppliers by reviewing submissions in terms of their contractsLiaise closely with the Financial Department on project reporting and financialsResolve disputes in relation to client / subcontractor issuesPrepare reports on commercial and contractual issues for the Project and Commercial ManagersMonitor site procurement on receipt of regular reportRequirementsDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Construction Management or equivalent4+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying in the construction industryWorking towards chartership or professional Quantity Surveying Certification is desirableData Centre experience would be an advantage but is not essential
