We're proud to be working closely with one of our major clients, a nationally renowned main contractor specialising in multimillion pound projects in the education, health and justice sectors that add real value to local communities in the South West.Role DescriptionThe company are looking for either an experienced Project QS or Senior QS to join their team, with responsibility for managing and controlling costs, preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), planning, and financial reporting. The role includes ensuring that all cost management procedures are followed, delivering cost estimates and financial reports, and implementing cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle. QualificationsExperience in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost PlanningAbility to prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and deliver cost reportingStrong analytical and numerical skillsGood knowledge of both JCT and NEC formsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related fieldExperience in the construction industry is a plusProficiency with relevant software and tools.Please feel free to contact me if you would like to have an initial confidential discussion as to where you are in your career journey or would like to know more about this role.
