Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor, based in the South East region. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing project cost estimations, managing budgets, and forecasting financial needs for construction projects. Tasks include evaluating materials and labor costs, conducting risk assessments, and managing contracts with vendors and subcontractors. The role also involves regular communication with project teams to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with timelines. Qualifications Proficiency in cost estimation, budget management, and financial forecastingExperience in procurement, contract management, and vendor negotiationsKnowledge of construction processes, materials, and risk assessment techniquesAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailEffective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teamsProficiency in software tools relevant to quantity surveying and project managementRelevant professional qualifications or certifications in quantity surveying or construction managementExperience in residential construction is a strong advantage
