Job Description

Swissboring Overseas Piling Corporation Ltd.  is hiring for UAE location: Quantity Surveyor  Activities: Prepare accurate and detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities for piling projects. Conduct thorough cost analysis, including material, labor, and equipment costs, to determine project budgets and profitability. Assist in the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements and specifications. Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to review project plans and identify potential cost-saving measures. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare comprehensive cost comparisons for decision-making. Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare regular cost reports for management review. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress, verify quantities, and identify any changes or additional works. Manage contractual and financial claims, including variations, extensions of time, and final accounts. Assist in the preparation of project progress payment applications and ensure timely submission to clients. Support the tendering process by researching and analyzing project requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with the tender team. Stay updated on market trends, industry rates, and pricing benchmarks to ensure competitiveness in tender submissions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project costs, contracts, and related documentation. Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors, to address any queries or issues related to quantity surveying and tendering. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the piling industry. Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and tendering processes. Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software. Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Familiarity with local construction regulations, codes, and standards.
