NOW is the time to join us.About The RoleWe are looking for a Senior Director of Engineering to lead and scale multiple engineering teams. You’ll work closely with me (CTO), own critical parts of our platform, and be responsible for building and mentoring high-performing teams. This role blends strategic leadership, business understanding, and hands-on technical guidance.You will help shape the engineering strategy to drive growth, influence product direction, and ensure our platform scales to meet enterprise needs. Your focus will be on driving impact, scaling teams, and enabling the business to grow.What You’ll DoLead and scale group of 30 engineers, cultivating top talent.Drive architecture and infrastructure decisions, focusing on cloud and storage systems.Collaborate with product and leadership to align engineering efforts with business goals and sales growth.Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems across multi-cloud environments.Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and operational excellence.Bring strategic perspective to the executive team and influence company direction.Who You AreProven experience leading large engineering organizations of minimum 60 engineersStrong technical background in cloud-native infrastructure, storage, or backend systems.Business-minded, with the ability and desire to drive growth and scale operations.Experienced with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience building or scaling engineering teams in hyper-growth companies.Familiarity with enterprise backup, recovery, or data-intensive systems.Why Join Us?Eon is well-funded, trusted by industry leaders, and moving fast.
