Work Setup: On-siteWork Location: Microsoft office at Factory 2 Land plot CN3A, DEEP C2A Industrial Zone, Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone, Dong Hai 2 ward, Hai An district, Hai Phong City, VietnamOverviewMicrosoft Surface System Engineering team is looking for passionate, self-motivated engineers to work on integration of connectivity (Wi-Fi/BT/LTE) technologies into Surface products.Job ResponsibilitiesYou will work on testing complex wireless systems for consumer products; you are expected to drive RF test optimization effort by collaborating within cross-functional teams. You will work with vendors, technology suppliers and cross-functional teams to optimize the end-to-end wireless system performance and user experience.RF System Testing & ValidationPerform RF testing and validation for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LTE subsystems.Conduct antenna performance measurements (S-parameters, radiation patterns, TRP/TIS, OTA).Characterize transceiver and RF front-end performance to ensure compliance with product requirements.Execute wireless system tests across multiple environments and use cases.Test Development & OptimizationDevelop and execute RF test plans for NPI and sustaining products.Perform root cause analysis on RF performance issues and drive corrective actions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HW design, antenna, system integration, software, manufacturing).Support engineering builds with RF data collection, analysis, and risk assessment.Tools & Equipment OperationOperate RF test equipment:Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter, Wireless Test Chambers, OTA Chambers, VNA.Maintain RF test lab capability, calibration schedules, and test automation scripts.Cross-functional CollaborationWork with external vendors, suppliers, and FA partners when specialized testing is required.Provide detailed engineering reports summarizing results, findings, and recommendations.Feed forward lessons learned to improve next-generation wireless designs.Job RequirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or relevant fields.3+ years of experience in wireless systems, RF engineering, antenna engineering, or RF test.·      Strong understanding of Communication Systems and Antenna Theory·      Strong understanding of transceiver design and RF front-end characteristics impacting circuit and system-level RF performance.·      Hands-on experience with design evaluation, test and troubleshooting of wireless hardware and software.·      Experience with RF test equipment, such as network analyzers, signal generators/analyzers, antenna chambers·      Experience with test automation software·      Excellent written & verbal communication skills.Position HighlightsPotential conversion to Microsoft FTE after 1-2 yearsOn-site advanced RF lab and global exposureCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive monthly gross salary (12 months)Performance-based 13th month bonusCommercial health insuranceAnnual health check (company paid)Company laptop (temporary BYOD for first month if needed)12 annual leave days + 1 additional day per year of serviceShuttle bus transportationSocial insurance Employment contract via Wicresoft, a joint venture of Microsoft
