The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while maintaining patient safety and comfort.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic imaging procedures including CT and X-ray in line with clinical protocols.Ensure patient care and safety, clearly explaining procedures.Position patients to obtain accurate diagnostic images with respect and dignity.Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure timely reporting.CT ResponsibilitiesOperate CT scanners, perform contrast-enhanced scans per protocols.Monitor patients and manage any reactions during the procedure.X-ray ResponsibilitiesDeliver portable and theatre-based X-ray imaging.Adhere to all radiation protection protocols.Additional ResponsibilitiesEquipment QC, infection control, mentoring junior staff.Compliance with IR(ME)R and relevant health & safety legislation.Person SpecificationEssentialDegree in Diagnostic RadiographyHCPC RegistrationExperience in CT, X-ray / TheatresPatient-centred communicationTeamwork in clinical environmentsDesirablePostgraduate CT or advanced imaging trainingFamiliarity with PACS/RISInvolvement in research or quality initiativesBenefitsPrivate PensionPrivate Medical InsuranceRefer a Friend SchemeApplication ProcessTo apply, please email your CV and a cover letter to:📧 ester.acainas@medicana.co.ukClosing Date: 7th September 2025Apply Now
