Raw Material Purchasing Executive

AKSA, a company of Akkök Holding, was founded in 1968 in Yalova. Becoming the world’s largest producer of acrylic fiber over the years, Aksa today serves approximately 300 customers in over 50 countries across 5 continents. Having a capacity of 350.000 tons per year, Aksa supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles in many diverse areas.We are looking for a Raw Material Purchasing Executive to be assigned to the Raw Material Procurement and Logistics Department, with experience in coal procurement, international trade, and commodity markets.Qualities We Are Looking For;• Minimum 5 years of experience in international coal purchasing, raw material purchasing, procurement, trade and logistics processes,• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade, Mining Engineering, or a related field,• Solid knowledge of coal markets, pricing, and import procedures,• Strong negotiation skills with excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities,• Experienced in contract management, compliance tracking, and process monitoring,• Proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to continuously improve in commodity trading,• Proficient in English (both written and spoken),• Preferably familiar with dry bulk or tanker chartering processes and has fixture knowledge,• Advanced user of MS Office applications with strong data analysis and reporting skills.Your main tasks are;• Monitor global and local coal markets; conduct and present price, supply-demand, and trend analyses,• Manage coal trading operations with competitive pricing to ensure profitability,• Review, negotiate, finalize, and manage contracts with suppliers,• Plan and coordinate coal import/export and logistics operations,• Build and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with suppliers and other industry stakeholders,• Monitor the execution of agreements; ensure timely deliveries and payment tracking,• Oversee the entire order and delivery process,• Conduct risk assessments and develop appropriate control strategies,• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement and supply performance,• Develop procurement strategies that support long-term cost savings and efficiency improvements.What are waiting for you here !Applications that support your development• Participation in Job Orientation and AKSA Recognition Training specific to the process steps within the scope of job adaptation,• Opportunity to participate in personal development, professional development and leadership training within the scope of our Corporate Training Academy,• Outside fairs, training and company visit opportunities abroad,• Master's/PhD support program,• Foreign language support program,Work-Life Balance• The opportunity to work 4 days a week, which we implemented as a first in Turkey,• Private accommodation for employees,• Benefit package,• Aksa Social Event Team activities (Sailing, book, running, trekking clubs)• Service Opportunity: Asian side of İstanbul, On the Yalova-Kocaeli (Karamürsel-Gölcük-Başiskele)Recruitment Process• Receiving applications,• Preliminary evaluation to be made in line with the criteria,• Sending personality inventory and interview process to shortlisted candidates• English exam• Senior management meeting• Offer
