REACH Manager (all genders) Corporate Product Stewardship provides technical expertise in the manufacturing and use of our products and ensures compliance with current regulatory frameworks across the Group, primarily in the company’s most important markets. One of our mission workstreams ensures the correct registration of intermediate products under the European REACH procedure, so that our products can be imported and used in Europe. We are seeking a new colleague in this area.Be part of our REACH mission team within Corporate Product Stewardship, which is a technical expert hub for substance registrations under REACH(-like) regulations and a trustful advisor for internal stakeholders in matters of REACH compliance. As REACH Manager (all genders) you will be collaborating with an extensive network of experts from the fields of physical chemical properties of substances, (eco-)toxicology, environmental fate, as well as chemical development, product supply, supply chain management, procurement, and public affairs.Your Tasks And ResponsibilitiesYou ensure REACH compliance by preparing, coordinating, and submitting registration dossiers, including chemical safety assessments and exposure scenariosYou develop registration and testing strategies for new active pharmaceutical ingredients, always aligning with regulatory requirements and business objectivesYou act as a key point of contact for REACH-related topics and provide regulatory guidance to stakeholders across Bayer divisionsYou collaborate with external service providers – from selection and contracting to managing timelines, budgets, and deliverablesYou stay on top of regulatory developments and actively engage with authorities and industry associations to anticipate future requirementsYou translate new regulatory requirements into concrete business processes and contribute to their implementation in cross-divisional teamsYou support divisional product teams to ensure compliance and sustainable product stewardship throughout the entire product lifecycleYou drive continuous improvement of internal processes to strengthen efficiency and effectiveness in REACH compliance activitiesWho You AreYou hold a Master’s degree in chemistry, toxicology, environmental sciences, or a related scientific discipline; a PhD is preferredYou bring sound knowledge of the EU REACH Regulation and its practical implementation in an industrial contextYou have a basic understanding of chemical safety assessments and registration processes and are eager to deepen your expertiseYou are initiative-taking, well organized, and open to learning in a dynamic, international environmentYou enjoy working in interdisciplinary and cross-divisional teams, driving compliance and sustainability in product stewardshipYou communicate clearly and confidently in English; German language skills are a plusWhat We OfferOur benefits package is flexible, appreciative, and tailored to your lifestyle, because: What matters to you, matters to us!
