Receivables & Revenue Accountant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Receivables & Revenue Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will manage billing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable processes to ensure compliance with IFRS and accuracy in financial reporting.🔑 Key Responsibilities1. Billing & Revenue Recognition• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices based on contracts, project milestones, or service delivery.• Ensure revenue recognition complies with IFRS 15 and internal accounting policies.• Maintain and reconcile billing data, including unbilled, deferred, and accrued revenue.• Coordinate with sales, operations, and project teams to validate billing and contract terms.• Support month-end and year-end closing by reconciling revenue and AR accounts.• Prepare documentation and audit schedules related to revenue and billing.2. Accounts Receivable Management• Oversee invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.• Maintain accuracy and integrity of customer balances across all business units.• Monitor AR aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and escalate as needed.• Track DSO, collection efficiency, and revenue trends to identify improvement areas.• Ensure proper reconciliation between AR sub-ledgers, revenue accounts, and the general ledger.🎓 Qualifications & Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).• 3–5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Revenue Accounting.• Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 – Revenue from Contracts with Customers.• Advanced skills in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Excel.• Experience in high-volume, multi-segment business environments.• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to accuracy and detail.💼 Why Join UsAt Shalfa International for Operations & Maintenance, we are committed to financial excellence and continuous improvement.
