This role requires leadership, organization, and attention to detail to maintain an exceptional guest experience while ensuring the efficient operation of the housekeeping department.Job DescriptionVerify incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy using web-based procurement softwareOversee the ordering of food, beverages, dry goods, and stationery supplies in accordance with company policies and proceduresMaintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock countsTrack inventory transfers between storerooms and departments using inventory management softwareImplement and adhere to purchasing standards and food safety regulationsLead and execute month-end inventory counts in various hotel areasEnsure proper storage and organization of received goodsCollaborate with internal departments to fulfill supply requests efficientlyBuild and maintain professional relationships with vendors and suppliersAssist in cost management by monitoring and reporting on inventory levelsEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the receiving areaPrepare and maintain accurate documentation for all receiving activitiesQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality settingProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and ExcelExperience with inventory management softwareStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsKnowledge of purchasing and receiving processesFamiliarity with food, beverage, and operating suppliesBasic accounting and inventory control skillsFluent English language skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesPhysical ability to lift and move items up to 50 poundsBasic math skills for inventory calculations and reconciliationsKnowledge of safe working procedures and OSHA regulationsAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as neededA diploma or degree in hospitality or business management is highly preferredAdditional InformationOur Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.By joining Accor, every chapter of your story is yours to write and together we can imagine tomorrow's hospitality.
